Blocking?

2 min read
I'm not sure who is going to see this, or who is going to read it or anything, but here goes anywhere.

I am unsure how to take certain actions. As I am sure everyone can be at some times.
In that regard, I would like to mention the fact of blocking people.
I have to ask, what is the point of blocking people?
But I already have an answer to that, don't I.
It's to keep people who are mean and annoying away from us.
After that, though. What do you do now?
I only ask this question because I have been blocked by two people (as far as I know), who I don't remember doing anything bad to. Since they have blocked me (their names will not be mentioned), some of their deviations have been removed from my favorites. Not only that, I can no longer comment on what they have done, I cannot favorite anything they do, I can't send them notes, and I cannot send them any messages.
It's not frustrating, because I forget about it after a while. But, eventually, memories resurface. Like those who have blocked me. To this point, I find blocking pointless.
Tell me, if you are reading this journal and gotten this far, have you blocked anyone? Why? What did they do? Do they remember you? I only ask because, it is pointless in a way. After you block someone, you forget about them, usually. Then, after a while, you may wonder why you blocked them at all.
It just makes me wonder why I was blocked by these two deviants I hold no ill will towards, one of whom I was watching, and commenting on their deviations, and favoriting them, as a fan.
In the end, isn't blocking sort of a useless feature?
